What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Assistant Manager position at Soyumi Asian Kitchen?
The assistant manager is responsible for managing the floor, providing above average customer service, collecting closing reports (mid-day or closing), opening/closing the restaurant, managing the cash register change, assisting with training new staff members, assisting with events outside of the organization, and performing job functions of all hourly FOH staff members. When a manager is not on duty the assistant manager will be responsible for maintaining the staff, handling customer complaints and employee issues, providing aid during busy times and remaining productive during slow times.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs and carry throughout the restaurant. Typical work week is 30 to 35 hours.
