Essential Duties:
- Direct Patient Care: Safely provide and guide care in the inpatient setting, including implementing care plans, delivering interventions, and administering medications.
- Team Collaboration: Participate as an active team member to support optimal patient outcomes and experiences.
- Care Planning: Plan and prioritize care to meet patient needs safely and effectively.
- Resource Management: Practice cost containment by utilizing hospital resources appropriately.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict patient privacy and ensure the confidentiality of all protected health information (PHI).
- Monitoring & Documentation: Monitor changes in patient conditions, carry out ordered interventions, and accurately document clinical responses.
- Communication: Keep the multidisciplinary team updated on patient progress toward goals of care.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes maintain compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, ODH, BOP, TJC).
- Professional Development: Participate in facility training and continuous learning opportunities.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities with the skill to delegate appropriately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulately document clinical findings.
- Efficiency: Strong prioritization and time-management skills.
- Demeanor: Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
