Southside Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. This role involves educating young minds, fostering their academic and spiritual growth, and helping them develop essential life skills. The Elementary School Teacher will work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff to implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
We are seeking specifically a 5th grade teacher for English, History, and spelling. The teacher will instruct a classroom of 15 students at a time with 3 sections of students. We use primarily Bob Jones curriculum but are seeking a teacher who can supplement the curriculum by designing engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.
Southside Christian School is a discipleship school that hires Christian teachers and enrolls students whose parents have provided a letter of reference from a church of like-faith. We currently have over 100 local churches represented in the student body. In addition to teaching, we are seeking teachers with a heart to invest in the lives of students.
