Responsibilities

• Prepare and shape sourdough dough using precise recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, proofers, ovens, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently
• Monitor fermentation processes to achieve optimal flavor, texture, and appearance of baked goods
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Decorate cakes and pastries as needed, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail in presentation
• Package baked products carefully for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and visual appeal
• Assist with food preparation tasks including pastry preparation, food handling, and ingredient measurement using basic math skills

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn is #1
• Proven experience in baking, particularly with sourdough or artisan bread production
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude toward team collaboration and guest interactions

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
