Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with bakery products, including baked goods and bread.
- Package baked items efficiently while maintaining product quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare food items such as doughs following established recipes and safety guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support baking and food preparation activities.
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock shelves with fresh baked goods throughout the shift to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Assist in presentation to enhance product attractiveness for customers.
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and hygiene at all times.
- Support high-volume production needs during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold food safety management practices and recipe adherence.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is highly desirable BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory.
- Experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is important.
- Ability to maintain a clean workspace consistently while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
