Position Summary
This is a professional position within the Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy .An employee in this position works with Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy students in need of occupational therapy services. This position is a grade E17; pay is $92,160.00/annually.
Education And Experience
Must have a BA/BS in Occupational Therapy.
Must have a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Must have 2 years of experience working with children birth through 13 years of age.Some of the experience must be within an educational setting.
Must have experience giving various diagnostic tests in the field of occupational therapy.
Must have knowledge and experience with Sensory Integrative Dysfunction.
Must have strong computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to work varied hours to meet student educational needs
Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History, fingerprint check and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Quallifications
A valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal Vehicle insurance policy.
Experience working with Native American Children.
The ability to speak and/or learn the Ute Language.
Knowledge and understanding of Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
