Position Summary
Provides routine maintenance and safe operation of heavy equipment in carrying out project assignments for the Southern Ute Division of Transportation (SUDOT). This position is a grade N11; the pay rate starts at $25.05/hour.
Education And Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must pass an onsite equipment operating test.
Must have 2 years of experience in the operation of heavy equipment.
Must have a Class B CDL or higher.
Must be able to obtain Class A CDL within 1 year of hire.
Must have basic computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable through the Tribal Vehicle Insurance Policy.
Must pass a thorough criminal history background check including fingerprints.
Must pass a CDL pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation Roads.
