**Essential Functions**
Relevant Courses Include
- INDS 6770 - Athletic Administration 3 Credit(s)
- INDS 6780 - Sports Public Relations 3 Credit(s)
- INDS 6790 - Intercollegiate Athletics Governance and Compliance Courses are taught in an asynchronous, 7-week format.
- Deliver instruction in accordance with a pre-designed course curriculum, adhering to established content, assessments, and instructional guidelines.
- Provide appropriate and timely feedback for all course assignments.
- Consistently manage and update student grades in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to university policies and deadlines.
- Actively foster student success, with particular attention to the academic needs and challenges of non-traditional students.
- Create a positive online learning environment through effective and regular communication with students, assessment feedback, and course management.
- Respond to departmental inquiries and emails, typically within one business day, and maintain professional communication with students, staff, faculty, and administrators.
- Complete all required training by the specified department or university deadline.
- Submit all required syllabi and related course materials through the university's designated platform on time.
Minimum Qualification
- M.A. or Ph.D. in Communication, Sports Management, or in a related field pertinent to the courses topics offered from an accredited college or university.
- Two or more years of experience teaching in the above field at the college level.
- Skilled in the use of Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or other learning management systems.
- Proven track record of undergraduate online teaching experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of online instructional methodologies.
