Parts Manager – Outdoor Power Equipment

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Parts Manager to oversee our parts department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and top-tier customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, ordering, and selling parts for outdoor power equipment, tractors, or similar machinery. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred to better serve our diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control and ordering.
- Assist customers (both in-store and over the phone) with finding the right parts for their equipment.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely ordering and stock availability.
- Implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while staying competitive.
- Keep the showroom and parts storage areas organized and well-stocked.
- Work closely with the service department to ensure efficient workflow and parts availability for repairs.
- Process online and in-store orders, manage returns, and handle warranty claims.
- Train and supervise parts counter staff as needed.
Qualifications:
✅ Previous experience in a parts or inventory management role (preferably in outdoor power equipment, agriculture, automotive, or similar industry).
✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred – ability to assist Spanish-speaking customers is a plus.
✅ Strong knowledge of outdoor power equipment brands such as Toro, Gravely, Husqvarna, Stihl, Echo, Mahindra, Exmark, and others.
✅ Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams and manuals.
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
✅ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
✅ Proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
