WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Investments & Asset Management Team. You will be part of an entrepreneurial team that touches all aspects of our business. Our team supports Residential and Commercial Operations, Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Investments. As a Financial Analyst, you will assist in developing both Corporate and Residential budgets, analyzing financial data, and coordinating submissions with department heads. A successful candidate must be intellectually curious, detailed, service-oriented, and proactive. You must have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and present data clearly and comprehensively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Contribute to the development of key assumptions for corporate and residential budgets.
* Work with leadership to assist in preparation of Net Operating Income targets for a 25,000-unit residential portfolio.
* Work with internal and external groups to conduct market analysis, identifying strengths and weaknesses of submarkets of the residential portfolio.
* Participate in the preparation of Executive presentation materials.
* Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial dashboards and key performance indicators.
* Assist in the analysis and presentation of short- and long-term portfolio growth strategies to leadership.
* Create and/or compile ad hoc reports as requested using Excel, Yardi, and other data management programs.
* Contribute to team/company engagement efforts.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, budgeting, or a related field
* 1-5 Years of relevant experience
