BARGAINING UNIT: MEA Administrators, Level III
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $48,243 - $62,946 commensurate with the agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Administrators Unit Level III pending classification.
DEPARTMENT: Workforce Development
REPORTS TO: Dean of Workforce Development
FUNDING: Position is funded through 9/30/2027 by a Workforce Development Grant.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Workforce Development Student Navigator is responsible for onboarding, supporting and retaining students in workforce training programs. This position will develop and implement proactive student support and retention strategies designed to help workforce students persist toward their career and academic goals. This position works closely with other college offices as well as career centers, community support organizations and local businesses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Social Services, Education or related discipline.
- Experience in student advising and/or career readiness and job placement.
PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS:
- Master’s degree
- Two years of experience working in higher education setting
