HVACR Service Specialist — Residential Systems

Can you troubleshoot a comfort crisis?

If your answer is yes, A Heating, Cooling & Electrical (part of Southern Home Services) wants to meet you. We’re looking for a pro who can maintain, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems—and occasionally support light commercial calls—while delivering an excellent customer experience.

What you’ll handle

• Clean, calibrate, and repair HVAC equipment: air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensate systems.
• Pinpoint issues and perform service work in residential environments to restore performance and safety.
• Present solution options and professional recommendations that align with customer needs.
• Keep detailed service records and uphold a tidy, safe worksite.
• Pitch in with additional duties as needed.

What makes you a fit

• 3–5 years of HVAC experience (residential emphasis preferred).
• EPA Certification.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
• Expert-level diagnostics and problem-solving skills.
• Quality-focused mindset and a great attitude.
• Customer-service orientation; polished communication with everyone you meet.
• Collaborative, flexible, and innovative—ready for dynamic field work.

Physical capabilities

• Routinely lift 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Climb ladders; access attics and crawlspaces; work in tight areas; drive; push/pull/carry; use hand tools; perform fine detail work.
• Stand, walk, sit; speak and hear in person and by phone.
• Use hands to handle/feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Regular stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching.
• Frequent exposure to heat, cold, and adverse weather (wind, rain, ice, snow).
