HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician — Residential

We are seeking business leaders and hands-on pros to help us grow and elevate the homeowner experience.

Role overview

Own the full service cycle for residential and light commercial HVAC systems—from diagnostics and maintenance to repairs and performance verification—while delivering outstanding customer communication and safety-first workmanship.

Primary responsibilities

• Clean, calibrate, and repair HVAC equipment: air handlers, ducting, vents, and condensate drainage.
• Diagnose issues and complete service work in residential settings to restore optimal operation.
• Offer expert recommendations, explain options, and ensure customers understand next steps.
• Perform system inspections, adjustments, and efficiency upgrades; document all work performed.
• Maintain orderly, safe work areas; follow company and industry safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HVAC experience; residential focus preferred.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex faults.
• Quality-driven, positive, and professional in all interactions.
• Customer-centric communicator; effective with all organizational levels.
• Flexible team player who thrives amid changing priorities.

Physical demands

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
• Ability to drive.
• Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
