What You'll Do π©Ί
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Assist with sick call, chronic care, and intake screenings.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient health status.
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and facility staff to deliver quality patient care.
- Accurately document care in the electronic medical record.
- Promote a safe, professional, and respectful healthcare environment.
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining security awareness in a correctional setting.
Qualifications β
- Active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
- Previous correctional, emergency, medical surgical, or long-term care experience is helpful but not required.
