Southern Health Partners is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our correctional healthcare team. You'll play an important role in helping patients receive safe, timely, and compassionate care while working in a structured environment with a supportive medical team.
And with two consistent 8 hour shifts each week, you can enjoy the stability of a set schedule without committing to full time hours.
π What You'll Do
As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll help keep patient care running smoothly by:
- π Administering medications according to established protocols and provider orders
- π Accurately documenting medications, treatments, and patient information
- π Monitoring patients and communicating changes or concerns to nursing staff
- π€ Working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- π Maintaining a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
- π Treating every patient with dignity, respect, and compassion
β What You'll Need
- Current registration on the North Carolina Medication Aide Registry
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the healthcare team
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards
- Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required
