Southern Health Partners is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team supporting the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program at the Cabarrus County Jail.

This part time opportunity offers a consistent every other weekend schedule, with the added flexibility of being available for PRN duties when coverage is needed. You'll play an important role in supporting safe medication administration and continuity of care for patients participating in the MAT program.

💊 What You'll Do

• Support medication administration and the daily operations of the MAT program
• Provide compassionate, professional care in a secure correctional healthcare setting
• Follow established medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Accurately document medication administration and patient care
• Communicate effectively with nursing and healthcare team members
• Assist with maintaining a safe and organized medication environment
• Provide PRN coverage when needed

✅ Qualifications

• Must be currently listed on the North Carolina Medication Aide Registry
• Current certification/credentials required for the position
• Medication administration experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team
• Must successfully complete background screening, drug screening, and facility credentialing
