Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Warranty Technician is responsible for repair, installation, replacement, and service of residential construction housing exteriors. The Warranty Technician begins each day in the warehouse reviewing daily work outline and partnering with warehouse team to ensure all needed materials are loaded on the truck for the day. Travels throughout the assigned market to complete warranty work to best in class Company standards.

The Warranty Technician begins each day in the warehouse reviewing daily work outline and partnering with warehouse team to ensure all needed materials are loaded on the truck for the day. Travels throughout the assigned market to complete warranty work to best in class Company standards.
Position Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Receive daily and/or weekly assigned schedule to include punch list items for homes closing and warranty items in completed homes.
- Assess assigned items in coordination with the warranty coordinator and manager to determine what is necessary to complete tasks
- Complete assigned items such as, siding, gutters, window, column, shutter adjustments, replacements or repairs, minor roof repairs, and other punch and warranty items as needed and with a high attention to detail.
- Interact with company employees, builders, homeowners, inspectors, subcontractors, etc. in a professional and polite manner.
- Communicate with homeowners directly regarding the status of warranty work in progress on their homes and to relay the schedule for the completion of noted warranty work.
- Follow up with the warranty coordinator and manager once a warranty visit is complete to communicate all completed items and any items needing further attention
- Work in conjunction with management to meet and coordinate subcontractors to complete tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
