Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain pristine lawns and landscapes
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible
• Conduct routine inspections of landscapes for health issues or hazards requiring attention

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment and landscape tools
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools safely
• Prior knowledge and experience of horticulture principles and plant health management
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards in outdoor maintenance environments
