We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Crew Leader, assisting with all aspects of lawn and landscape maintenance while upholding the highest quality standards. Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance.
- Valid NC Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions, collaborate effectively, and contribute as a team player.
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Professional appearance and a consistently positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and clean-up.
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Support the Crew Leader in executing daily job schedules and ensuring all tasks meet company standards.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment for daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper use of company vehicles and tools.
- Work efficiently with team members to complete tasks on time and with quality.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Show a willingness to learn, take initiative, and pursue opportunities for skill development and advancement.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Capable of working 8–10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays (due to weather delays).
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of plant care, irrigation, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to identify common landscape issues, including under-watering, pests, or plant diseases.
