Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and watering to keep outdoor spaces thriving.
- Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Assist with hardscape projects like installing pathways, retaining walls, or patios to enhance landscape aesthetics.
- Identify various plants and trees to ensure proper care and health; apply pest management techniques following safety protocols.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during equipment use and outdoor work activities.
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or seasonal clean-up to keep properties pristine year-round.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous outdoor work experience or a strong interest in landscaping and grounds maintenance.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, pruning, and planting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and grounds equipment.
- Ability to identify plants and trees; understanding of horticulture principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with pesticide management procedures and safety protocols for chemical handling.
