Southern California Immigration Project is a non profit organization dedicated to delivering pro bono legal services to survivors of human and civil rights violations. Please see our website www.socalimmigrationproject.org.We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoice Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating invoices, managing incoming payments, reconciliation, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.This individual would also be responsible for managing our client database and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Draft and submit 15-30 invoices/month using the San Diego County electronic system
- Reconcile invoices with Quickbooks and Gusto, track open receivables and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain an organized electronic repository of invoices and supporting documentation
- Support month-end close activities including AR/AP reporting, revenue accruals, and account reconciliations working with our external accounting firm
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external billing inquiries, provide reports as needed
- Maintain client database in eImmigration. Provide reporting as requested.
Minimum Qualiications:
- Strong understanding of AR/AP , invoicing best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Analytical, resourceful, and good problem solving skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's and/or experience in AR/AP
- Excel/Sheets proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
