Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Administrative Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our office in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office and supporting the overall success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize office policies and procedures to meet internal needs while upholding our business standards
- Complete secretarial duties including leading day-to-day operations and overseeing Teacher's success.
- Keep office systems running smoothly including ordering office supplies, organizing filing systems, maintaining office equipment, optimizing the organizational budget, and scheduling meetings
- Execute other office administration tasks as assigned
- Communicate with Parents and students as the first point of contact
- Conducts skills assessments for existing and potential new Tutoring students
- Maintains full responsibility for managing and overseeing each student's academic educational plan and schedule
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management processes is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with office management software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, CRM tools).
- Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations.
- Leadership skills to motivate and guide a team.
Work Environment:
- Office-based position with standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
