A Day in the Life of a Project Manager

• Lead daily coordination meetings and stay in sync with superintendents.
• Track costs, approve invoices, and ensure financials stay accurate.
• Walk the jobsite, verify specs, and maintain compliance with GDOT and environmental rules.
• Communicate directly with suppliers and subcontractors to prevent delays.
• Submit submittals, RFIs, and updates through Spectrum and FMP.
• Resolve field issues fast and professionally.
• Drive job closeouts and mentor junior PMs.

What You Need To Bring To The Table

• 5 years of heavy civil or GDOT project management experience
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites
• Mastery of pay apps, submittals, RFIs, and closeouts
• Proficiency in project financials and job tracking software
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors
• Commitment to compliance, documentation, and safety
• Ability to read and interpret GDOT plans and specs
• Must meet DOT compliance and pass a background check
