Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Coordinator located in Newnan GA. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for implementing health and safety protocols, conducting safety training, performing accident investigations, and maintaining compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards. The role includes active monitoring of the human performance program ,occupational health practices and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Human Performance and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
- Proficiency in Occupational Health and Safety Training
- Experience conducting thorough Accident Investigations
- Ability to develop and enforce safety policies and standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or related field (preferred)
- Certifications such as OSHA or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are a plus
- Experience in the construction or heavy civil industry is advantageous
- Military experence is perferred .
