Southeastern Machining and Field Service Inc.is a full-service provider of precision machining including full-service sheet metal fabrication, engineering and design, machine building and assemblies. We serve diverse customers and industries on a made-to-order basis. We have an immediate opening for a full time Procurement Specialist position at our Lancaster, Ohio location.
Procurement Specialist will execute purchasing/procurement activities for Southeastern Machining and Field Service Inc. including but not limited to:
· Identify needs and requirements for all manufacturing jobs
· Source and evaluate all suppliers and subcontractors
· Negotiate terms, conditions, and contracts
· Build and manage relationships with all vendors
· Implement cost saving measures
· Develop and manage inventory/casting forecasting
· Management of inventory
· Direct vendor compliance
· Responsible for improving processes and systems
· Maintain accurate physical inventories
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma / GED
· Work experience
· Experience with ISO 9001:2015
· Job specific attributes/skills
· Ability to read and understand blueprints
· Experience with tooling and fixtures and inspection gages
· Computer knowledge – Excel, Word, Access
· Extreme attention to detail, organized, and accurate
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
