We are seeking a SolidWorks CAD Designer to join our team and serve as a key resource within our engineering department. This role will focus on manufacturing drawings, document control, and supporting Engineering and Quality through accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain manufacturing and process drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Support Engineering and Quality with detailed part drawings, revisions, and documentation updates.
- Maintain and improve company CAD and CAM templates in SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
- Manage drawing revisions and document control within our MRP system (JobBOSS).
- Update company product catalogs using SolidWorks modeling for graphic content.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software (SolidWorks will be used daily).
- Experience with Fusion 360 CAM or other 3D CAM systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and ASME Y14.5/GD&T standards.
- Experience with JobBOSS or other MRP systems is helpful but not required.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Valid driver’s license for occasional customer visits.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Schedule: 8-hour shifts; overtime available for hours worked over 40 per week
