In keeping with the mission of the school, faculty members seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by equipping students to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission. All members of the faculty are Southern Baptists. Each faculty member must agree to teach in agreement with, and not contrary to, the seminary’s Articles of Faith (Abstract of Principles, Baptist Faith and Message 2000) and further teach in agreement with, and not contrary to, the seminary’s Affirmed Statements (The Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, and One Faith, One Trust, One Sacred Task.)
