Overview
Southeast Restoration Group (SRG), a faith-based company, is seeking a Mitigation Manager to lead our dedicated mitigation team. In this leadership role, you’ll play a crucial part in our mission to Restore Lives and Repair Property. You’ll be guiding teams through water, fire, and mold-related emergencies while setting the standard for operational excellence, customer service, and team development.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Set clear expectations, coach for growth, and hold team members accountable. Equip technicians and project managers to serve customers with skill, compassion, and professionalism.
- Operational Oversight & Project Excellence: Manage the full lifecycle of mitigation projects - from emergency response to final documentation - ensuring timely, high - quality execution in line with IICRC standards and SRG protocols.
- Financial & Strategic Performance
Oversee departmental performance, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and profitability. Use data to drive decisions and ensure we meet financial goals. - Customer Experience & Communication
Support Project Managers in delivering an excellent customer experience during times of crisis. Ensure customers are informed, cared for, and confident in the restoration process. - Emergency Response Readiness
Coordinate and support after - hours and catastrophe (CAT) event response efforts. Ensure readiness across team resources, equipment, and vendor relationships. - Systems & Documentation
Model excellence in using business systems such as PSA, Xactimate, and Concur. Ensure all documentation is complete, timely, and aligned with internal standards.
Qualifications
- 3 years of team management experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction
- IICRC WRT certification required; additional certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT, CDS) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of water/fire/mold mitigation processes and tools
- Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision - making
- Experience leading emergency response efforts and managing CAT events
- Tech - savvy with job management systems (e.g., PSA, Xactimate, Xactanalysis)
- Excellent communicator with strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical
