Southeast Restoration Group (SRG), a faith-based company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Assistant Controller to support the financial health and integrity of our growing organization. This position plays a key role in managing core accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial operations.
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Coordinate and support annual financial audits with external auditors
- Collaborate with operations, HR, and project management teams to ensure accurate financial data flow
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting of finance
- 3 years of accounting experience, including strong general ledger knowledge
- Advanced understanding of GAAP
- Proficient in accounting systems and excel
