As the CMA, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical and administrative functions of our practice. You’ll be responsible for assisting our healthcare providers with patient care, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician or other healthcare provider.
- Assist with minor medical procedures.
- Prepare and clean examination rooms.
- Manage patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage patient flow and handle patient inquiries.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining office supplies.
- Medical Assistant certification required.
- Previous experience as a CMA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and office equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent office software.
