Location: MCO Airport Terminal & Concourses

Reports To: APM Supervisor & Operations Manager
Schedule and Payrate:
1st shit: 4:00am to 12:30pm-Payrate: $18.00
2nd shift:12:00pm to 8:30pm-Payrate:$18.00
3rd Shift: 8:00pm to 4:30am-Payrate: $19.00
APM Agent – Airport Passenger Assistance
Job Summary
Southeast Airport Services (SAS) is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as APM Agents. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and passenger assistance throughout the airport terminal and concourses during periods when the Automated People Mover (APM/train) is unavailable. APM Agents play a critical role in ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and efficient movement throughout the airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist passengers traveling between terminals and concourses.
- Provide clear directions, information, and customer support using a microphone amplifier.
- Guide passengers along designated indoor and outdoor walking routes.
- Assist elderly passengers, families, and individuals with special needs.
- Ensure passenger safety and maintain orderly crowd movement.
- Monitor passenger flow and report concerns to airport operations or supervisors.
- Always maintain a professional and courteous presence.
- Comply with all airport security, safety, and access-control procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support airport operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid government-issued photo identification.
- Valid Social Security card.
- Valid U.S. Passport or Birth Certificate.
- Non-U.S. citizens must have valid authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and obtain airport security badge clearance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening (if required by contract).
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to handle and communicate with large groups of travelers.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic, fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service, hospitality, or airport operations experience.
- Experience working with the public in high-volume environments.
- Multilingual abilities a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, or assist with baggage up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed.
- Ability to use a handheld microphone amplifier for extended periods.

- Standing and walking throughout shift.
Schedule Requirements
- Flexible availability required.

Pre-Employment Requirements
