Job Responsibilities

As a Payroll Admin, you will be responsible for performing weekly payroll processes in an accurate and timely manner. Flexibility and teamwork are a must in this fast-paced environment. Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently.

Primary Focus

  • Ensure the accuracy of timecard entries each week in the I-solved payroll system
  • Create Weekly Payroll reports for management review
  • Process and reconcile payroll on a weekly basis including journal entries into QuickBooks
  • Creating weekly certified payroll/prevailing wage reports
  • Reporting hours worked into Client diversity systems as required
  • Process new hire paperwork and maintain team member records in the payroll system
  • Enter all updates – salary changes/benefit enrollments/etc. into the payroll system
  • Maintain confidential employee files
  • Prepare & submit 401k weekly & monthly contributions
  • Assist with preparation for annual accounting and 401k audit
  • Assist with preparation of Insurance Audits

Additional Duties to include:

  • Office & Staff support, Including phone coverage as necessary
  • IFTA reports & filings
  • Truck Registrations & Annual Truck Filings

Qualifications (Minimum 2 Year Experience)

  • Accounting Software (Preferably QuickBooks)
  • Excel – proficiency & Microsoft Office
  • Certified Payroll
  • Payroll Processing

Pluses (not requirements) - Construction Office experience, I-Solved Payroll, Notary
