What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Site Coordinator position at South Shore Community Action Council, Inc.?
Core Duties Supervise and evaluate School Age education staff at our two
before and after school programs in Wareham and Hyannis. Implement
before/after school care programs, in accordance with state regulations.
Responsible for engagement, supervision, and care of children in the
Before And/or After-School Programs. Core Qualifications DEEC LTPS &
Director II license, bachelor?s degree or advanced degree in education
or related field such as Child Care, Psychology. Knowledge of the
comprehensive purpose and philosophy of Head Start. Demonstrated ability
to write grants. Demonstrated ability to plan and implement an education
program for preschool and school-age children from 3-12 years of age.
Demonstrated supervisory skills. Minimum Requirements at employment: All
candidates must undergo a background check where applicable; prior to
beginning employment. Positions are open until a suitable candidate is
found. Date of posting 12/1/25; Deadline to apply 12/11/25. Candidate
must be at least 18 years of age upon hire. Candidate must be able to
speak and understand English. Valid MA state driver?s license, first aid
certificate, medical certificate, and TB test.
