JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director-Facilities, perform a variety of responsible duties in the preparation of surfaces and painting of District buildings and facilities; mix and apply paints or other surface coatings to buildings, equipment and furniture.
REQUIRMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent GED supplemented by completion of an approved apprenticeship program in painting and one year journey-level experience in the painting trade.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California Class C driver’s license. Some incumbents may be required to obtain a valid EPA Lead Removal Certification within a designated probationary period.
