JOB LOCATION : Main Campus
DEPARTMENT: EVS SPN
SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8HR Evening Shift, 4 pm - 12:30 am
POSITION SUMMARY Oversees and directs the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment. To assist the Coordinating Manager in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping and keeping them informed on the immediate condition of all assigned areas and by training, supervising and motivating the departmental personnel to be sure all schedules are complete. Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities. Ensures quality results by overseeing and assisting with the coordination of schedules for cleaning of patient rooms, offices, clinical and public areas using the 7 Step cleaning process. Coordinates and schedules routine floor and carpet cleaning. Conducts daily walk-through inspections to insure delivery of housekeeping services.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- (3-5) three-five years Housekeeping/Environmental Services experience preferred.
- (1) year or more management or supervisor experience required.
- May be expected to drive personal vehicle to and from various job sites.
