Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our Substance Use Residential Facility in Andalusia. This position operates within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, providing person-centered support, daily living assistance, and recovery-focused care for individuals receiving substance use treatment services. In this role, you will help create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that promotes stability, wellness, and long-term recovery.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work effectively with individuals receiving substance use treatment services
- Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily supervision, support, and care for residents receiving substance use treatment services
- Assist with daily living activities and help maintain routines that support recovery and wellness
- Monitor residents’ behavior, safety, and overall well-being, reporting concerns to supervisory staff as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment that supports person-centered care and recovery goals
- Support residents with crisis prevention, emotional support, and encouragement throughout treatment
- Collaborate with clinical staff and team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care within the CCBHC care model
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support continuous residential services
