Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. This position operates within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, providing person-centered mental health and substance use treatment services to individuals across our service area. In this role, you will provide direct clinical services, support recovery-focused treatment planning, and offer consultation and education to community agencies, professionals, and the general public. Hybrid work options are available for qualified staff. We offer part-time and full-time positions, with flexible central office locations in Covington, Coffee, Crenshaw, and Butler counties.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree required in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or another behavioral health-related field
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Licensed or license-eligible preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, person-centered treatment planning, and evidence-based practices preferred

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct mental health and substance use treatment services to consumers across the lifespan
- Conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and support ongoing recovery goals
- Deliver person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused therapeutic interventions
- Provide consultation, education, and outreach services to community agencies, professionals, and the general public
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care within the CCBHC care model
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency standards and CCBHC requirements
- Support continuity of care and connections to additional services and community resources
ALL candidates must be able to type and have basic computer skills, possess a valid driver’s license, eligibility for coverage under center liability insurance and individually held vehicle liability insurance with a clear background check.
