Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Master’s Level Therapist to join our team. This position operates within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, providing person-centered, recovery-focused, and trauma-informed behavioral health services to individuals in the community. In this role, you will provide direct mental health services, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and clinical support while collaborating with community partners and multidisciplinary team members to promote stabilization, recovery, and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master’s Degree (MS) in psychology, social work, counseling, or another behavioral health-related field
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, crisis intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively provide services to individuals experiencing a variety of mental health and behavioral health needs
- Ability to work independently in community-based settings while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Knowledge of person-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and evidence-based behavioral health practices preferred
- Licensed or license-eligible preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct mental health services, therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution services to consumers in community-based settings
- Conduct clinical assessments and assist in the development and implementation of individualized, person-centered treatment plans
- Provide timely intervention and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises with an emphasis on stabilization and connection to appropriate services
- Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused approaches to support individual treatment goals
- Offer consultation, education, and behavioral health resources to community agencies, professionals, families, and the general public as appropriate
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, care coordinators, peer support specialists, medical providers, and other professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care within the CCBHC care model
- Coordinate with community partners and service providers to promote continuity of care and appropriate follow-up services
- Oversee, maintain, and complete designated documentation in consumer records in accordance with agency standards, regulatory requirements, and CCBHC guidelines
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation of assessments, interventions, treatment progress, and services provided
- Promote recovery, resilience, independence, and improved quality of life for individuals receiving behavioral health services
Work Environment:
- Provide behavioral health services in community-based and other appropriate settings based on consumer needs
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and community partners to provide timely, coordinated behavioral health care
- Engage in meaningful work focused on crisis stabilization, recovery, wellness, and improving access to behavioral health services throughout the community
