Our Client is Looking an experienced Operations & Business Development Leader to drive strategic initiatives, oversee complex programs, and enhance operational performance across the organization.
This role is responsible for leading cross‑functional efforts to deliver business growth, optimize operational processes, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and a proven track record in managing large‑scale initiatives within healthcare or insurance environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Business Operations
- Define and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals and long‑term growth objectives
- Lead and oversee business operations across multiple functional areas
- Establish policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to ensure efficiency and compliance
Business Development & Procurement
- Drive new business opportunities, including leading complex initiatives and product expansions
- Manage and oversee procurement processes, including preparation and submission of RFPs
- Evaluate new opportunities based on performance, scalability, and return on investment
Financial & Performance Management
- Own budgeting, revenue targets, and P&L outcomes for the business unit
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to senior leadership
- Ensure financial integrity and operational effectiveness across programs
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with internal teams and senior leadership to align priorities and drive execution
- Act as a primary liaison between business units, corporate functions, and external stakeholders
- Lead collaboration efforts across departments to deliver integrated solutions
Program Oversight & Risk Management
- Oversee implementation of new business initiatives and operational programs
- Conduct due diligence, risk assessments, and evaluations of internal controls
- Identify potential risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 9 years of experience in operations, management, or administration within healthcare or insurance sectors
- Strong experience leading complex programs, business initiatives, and cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related discipline
- Experience with business development and RFP processes
- Knowledge of regulatory, legislative, and compliance frameworks within healthcare
- Experience in specialty pharmacy or similar healthcare operations
- PharmD with relevant experience will also be considered
