Our Client is seeking a customer‑focused Account Management professional to support local business operations by strengthening client relationships and ensuring a seamless end‑to‑end customer experience.
This role works closely with sales, operations, and support teams to resolve delivery‑related issues, enhance service quality, and maintain strong connections with both new and existing customers. The position requires a proactive approach to managing relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts through regular engagement
- Conduct in‑person visits as needed to strengthen partnerships and understand customer needs
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring timely support and issue resolution
Service Execution & Issue Resolution
- Oversee order fulfillment and last‑mile delivery coordination to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with internal teams such as transportation, merchandising, and sales to resolve operational challenges
- Communicate with customers regarding order updates, credits, and special requests
Sales & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work alongside local and national sales teams to align on customer strategies and execution plans
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver consistent service and improve customer outcomes
- Support implementation of best practices and operational processes across accounts
Account Management & Reporting
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer data, track activities, and coordinate across teams
- Maintain accurate account records and monitor service performance
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in B2B account management, customer support, or sales
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5 years of experience in foodservice account management or B2B sales
- Experience working with restaurant groups or similar industry environments
