Our Client is looking for an accomplished HR leader to join their regional senior leadership team as the Regional VP – Human Resources. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing HR strategy across multiple sites, driving organizational excellence, and developing strong talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional leaders to implement enterprise, market, and regional HR strategies.
- Lead talent development efforts, including coaching, mentoring, and identifying high‑potential employees for future leadership roles.
- Support succession planning to ensure readiness for larger responsibilities across the region.
- Oversee the full performance management lifecycle, offering guidance and training to leadership teams.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and labor negotiations in unionized locations.
- Ensure consistent compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Provide ongoing support and direction to HR teams across multiple sites.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration and deliver training on HR topics such as ethics, labor laws, and compliance.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of progressive, exempt‑level HR leadership experience in a multi‑site environment OR Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 7–10 years of strategic HR management experience.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region 1–3 times per month.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
Preferred Certifications
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
