A Supply Chain Specialist to support inventory control, materials management, and supply distribution activities while ensuring operational efficiency and product availability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily inventory management activities, including order fulfillment, stock replenishment, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies, carts, and point-of-use locations.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and verifying incoming materials and supply shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support data integrity within inventory management systems.
- Troubleshoot supply-related issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve critical inventory challenges.
- Coordinate with procurement, accounts payable, warehouse teams, and suppliers to support seamless supply chain operations.
- Ensure replenishment orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Support implementation of product and inventory changes, including updates to stock levels and item information.
- Assist with inventory audits, product transitions, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Provide product knowledge and operational support to clinical and operational teams.
- Communicate inventory updates, process changes, and supply-related information effectively to stakeholders.
- Utilize inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools to support reporting and operational activities.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support additional supply chain projects and operational activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree preferred.
Preferred Experience
- 2β3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, inventory management, or materials management.
- Experience working with inventory control systems and database management tools.
- Familiarity with procurement, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Experience in healthcare, hospital supply chain, or medical products is a plus.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
