Our Client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize logistics operations across multiple healthcare facilities. This role oversees receiving, distribution, and inventory management while guiding a team that supports clinical departments and ensures high‑quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations across assigned locations, ensuring consistency in receiving, distribution, and inventory control.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, performance reporting, and compliance with organizational processes and contract requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and support supply chain staff across multiple shifts and sites; conduct regular rounds to strengthen relationships with clinical teams and understand operational needs.
- Recruit, train, and retain staff members while providing ongoing development opportunities.
- Manage administrative functions including staffing, budgeting, expenses, and operational planning for all assigned areas.
- Consolidate and analyze supply chain data from multiple facilities to provide comprehensive insights into performance, spend, and inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with leadership to advance supply chain strategies and resolve operational challenges.
- Participate in product evaluation and standardization initiatives to support value‑based decision‑making.
- Use materials management systems to optimize inventory levels, replenishment processes, and performance targets based on fluctuating clinical demand.
- Coordinate the movement of inventory between locations to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and minimize backorder impacts.
- Support product conversions, ensuring timely system updates, communication with clinical departments, and adjustments to par levels and labeling.
- Conduct routine customer rounding to promote excellent service and strengthen partnerships across departments.
- Manage vendor compliance tools and ensure vendor adherence to internal policies.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare supply chain operations
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience
Skills & Abilities
- Supply chain certification (e.g., CRMP) preferred
- Ability to travel between facilities for onsite support
- Strong leadership capabilities across multiple shifts and locations
- Experience managing inter‑facility transportation or courier operations
- Operational experience in multi‑site or hub‑and‑spoke supply chain environments
- Strong understanding of logistics workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with ERP/materials management systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
- Understanding of clinical departments and hospital operations
- Ability to interpret financial data and implement improvement plans
