Are you passionate about building high-performance mobile applications, creating exceptional user experiences, and delivering scalable solutions used by millions of customers every day? We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer to help design, develop, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and fellow developers to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-performing mobile experiences. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from feature development and integration to testing, optimization, deployment, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate combines strong React Native expertise with a passion for clean code, performance optimization, and collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile application features across multiple functional areas, including customer experiences, transactions, payments, loyalty programs, location services, and account management.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality mobile solutions using modern cross-platform development frameworks.
• Develop reusable components, modules, and application architectures that support long-term platform growth.
• Implement user interfaces based on design specifications while ensuring consistency, usability, and accessibility standards.

Integration & Technical Solutions

• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication systems, payment services, analytics platforms, and third-party technologies.
• Develop secure and reliable data exchange mechanisms between mobile clients and enterprise services.
• Support authentication, authorization, session management, and secure application communications.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define API requirements and integration strategies.

Quality Engineering & Testing

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, scalability, and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.

Performance Optimization

• Monitor and improve application responsiveness, rendering efficiency, and overall user experience.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting application performance across iOS and Android platforms.
• Optimize application architecture, state management, navigation, and local storage strategies.
• Support ongoing modernization and platform improvement initiatives.

DevOps & Release Management

• Support build automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and release management activities.
• Assist with beta testing, deployment validation, and production releases across mobile app stores.
• Maintain application delivery pipelines and deployment processes.
• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, error tracking, and incident resolution.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with product goals and customer needs.
• Document technical decisions, implementation details, and architectural recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, navigation, performance optimization, and local storage solutions.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with token-based authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile development fundamentals and mobile deployment processes.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites.
• Proven experience publishing and supporting applications in mobile app marketplaces.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating payment platforms and digital payment solutions.
• Knowledge of feature flagging and controlled deployment strategies.
• Experience with mobile analytics, application monitoring, and error-tracking platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and mobile deployment automation.
• Experience supporting multilingual applications and internationalization frameworks.
• Knowledge of privacy, consent management, and mobile security best practices.
• Experience implementing advanced mobile security features such as certificate pinning and secure communications.
