About the Role
A large U.S. insurance organisation is seeking a Social Media Strategist focused on Digital Reputation to join its marketing and brand team.
This role focuses on monitoring, analysing, and managing brand perception across digital channels, ensuring reputational risks and opportunities are identified early and addressed effectively. You will use social listening, analytics, and reputation tools to help shape brand strategy and protect online presence across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and conversations across social media, forums, blogs, review sites, and search engines.
- Track and analyse digital reputation metrics including sentiment trends, review patterns, and search visibility.
- Use social listening tools to identify emerging risks, reputational threats, and opportunities.
- Audit search engine results and digital footprint to identify negative or irrelevant content.
- Collaborate with PR, SEO, marketing, and other internal teams to address reputational issues.
- Escalate and manage digital reputation concerns across departments.
- Build dashboards and recurring reports on digital reputation KPIs.
- Benchmark competitor reputation performance and share insights across teams.
- Support development and optimisation of social media and digital reputation strategies.
- Recommend improvements to tools, processes, and social media technology use.
- Analyse online community engagement and conversations across platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or online reputation management.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including:
- X (Twitter)
- TikTok
- Experience with social listening tools and sentiment analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to translate business objectives into social media and reputation strategies.
- Experience working across both B2B and B2C environments.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
