Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to join their Institutional Defined Contribution team. This role plays a key part in transforming complex retirement plan data into actionable insights and compelling stories that highlight product impact and value. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical expertise with clear communication and business acumen to support data-driven decision-making and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis of large and complex retirement plan datasets to identify performance patterns, trends, and key opportunities.
- Create comprehensive case studies and reports that translate financial and operational data into clear, persuasive narratives for stakeholders.
- Manage project lifecycles from planning through execution, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives and timelines.
- Evaluate existing processes, propose data-driven improvements, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across projects and analytical outputs.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.
- Stay informed about industry benchmarks, best practices, and competitive trends within the defined contribution and retirement plan space.
- Maintain the integrity and quality of datasets through validation, cleaning, and methodological consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven experience interpreting large and complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and impactful way.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
