Our Client is seeking a skilled IT Risk Manager to help strengthen enterprise-wide risk practices and ensure a robust technology control environment. This role is ideal for a professional with deep knowledge of IT controls, data integrity, and technology risk management particularly within environments governed by compliance and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholders through a comprehensive risk management framework, including scoping, risk assessment, control design, testing, deficiency analysis, reporting, and certification.
- Advise cross-functional teams, including business process owners, risk partners, and auditors, on emerging data and technology risks.
- Communicate identified risks, control gaps, and recommended remediation actions in a clear and actionable manner.
- Support major technology and business transformation initiatives by evaluating the impact of cloud adoption and evolving control requirements.
- Analyze and report control performance metrics; assist with preparation of quarterly reporting for senior leaders.
- Translate complex program requirements and control expectations into guidance for various technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build deep expertise in reporting compliance, risk management practices, and industry developments, and connect these insights to broader organizational impacts.
- Conduct or oversee substantive testing procedures: reviewing transactional evidence, documenting processes, identifying issues, and recommending corrective actions.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Internal Controls, Data Risk Management, IT Risk, IT Audit, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in external auditing and control evaluation
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect certification
Salary : $144,000 - $164,400
