What You’ll Do
Partner With FP&A & Finance Teams
- Act as a risk advisor to FP&A and Finance groups, providing guidance, insights, and effective challenge.
- Build strong working relationships and support teams through regular risk touchpoints.
Strengthen Risk & Control Frameworks
- Support the design, enhancement, and monitoring of controls to mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
- Facilitate Process Level Risk Assessments and help teams identify improvement opportunities.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and guide remediation actions by connecting the right stakeholders.
Support Audit & Regulatory Activities
- Help prepare teams for internal audits and regulatory examinations.
- Coordinate responses, track remediation progress, and ensure timely closure of findings.
Enable Cross‑Functional Risk Alignment
- Work closely with 1st line business teams and 2nd line risk oversight functions.
- Support risk advisory needs for major initiatives, new processes, and regulatory changes.
- Partner with SOX, compliance, and international FP&A risk teams to drive consistency.
Documentation & Reporting
- Create and maintain procedures, process flows, and presentation materials.
- Provide clear communication and transparency to Finance and Risk leadership.
- Contribute to risk insights, reporting, and metrics alongside broader risk teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience
- 3 years of experience in Financial Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Project Management, or related fields
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional finance and risk partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or FRM
- 5 years of experience in FP&A, Finance Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, or Project Management
- Experience in the financial services sector
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Tableau, Data Studio, Workiva, OpenPages, and process mapping applications
