Key Responsibilities
Lead End-to-End Project Execution
- Manage commercial construction projects from project initiation through final completion and handover.
- Coordinate activities across estimating, design, fabrication, installation, and field operations teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to contractual requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
Project Planning & Financial Management
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and procurement timelines.
- Monitor project costs, material requirements, labor utilization, and overall profitability.
- Identify and address potential project risks, delays, and budget impacts proactively.
Technical Review & Documentation
- Analyze architectural drawings, engineering specifications, shop drawings, and project documents.
- Ensure technical requirements are accurately interpreted and properly executed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review designs and project documentation to maintain compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships while ensuring clear communication throughout project execution.
- Facilitate meetings, provide project updates, and manage expectations regarding scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Contract Administration & Proposal Support
- Assist in preparing project proposals, quotations, budgets, and contract documentation.
- Support contract negotiations and ensure project requirements are clearly defined and understood.
- Manage change orders, project modifications, and scope adjustments when required.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments, production teams, field personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
- Coordinate resource availability, production schedules, delivery timelines, and installation activities.
- Resolve project challenges through effective communication and problem-solving.
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor project quality standards throughout execution and completion.
- Support safety initiatives and ensure project activities comply with applicable safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, resource utilization, and delivery performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of project management or construction industry experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze architectural drawings, construction plans, and engineering documents.
- Experience preparing project estimates, bids, proposals, and commercial contracts.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, building systems, and project delivery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial construction, façade, exterior building systems, or specialty construction projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project budgeting or construction management software.
- Experience with CAD software or technical design tools.
- Demonstrated success managing relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, architects, and project owners.
