Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team, contributing to high-quality system enhancements within a dynamic project management environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with business experts to ensure operational procedures remain current, accurate, and well-aligned with project initiatives.
- Designs comprehensive test cases from an end-user viewpoint to validate innovative system updates and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Performs hands-on testing, identifies issues, and analyzes root causes to support timely resolution.
- Documents and communicates software defects to the appropriate technology teams for prompt action.
- Keeps leadership informed on testing progress, offering objective evaluations and recommending improvements to enhance product delivery.
- Acts as a trusted resource for internal stakeholders, addressing escalations and providing guidance as needed.
- Sets clear expectations for testing efforts, ensuring all activities meet established timelines.
- Mentors junior team members and contributes to their development.
- Identifies, assesses, and manages risks associated with business processes, maintaining alignment with compliance and risk-management practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (additional years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education).
- At least four years of experience supporting business applications or performing software/quality assurance testing within financial services.
- Practical experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in agile project environments.
- Strong writing skills for documenting testing standards, procedures, and scripts.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project tracking tools.
- Understanding of banking products, services, and foundational U.S. banking regulations.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on use of Jira, qTest, or comparable test management platforms.
- Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestIM, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies; SAFe expertise or certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to influence strategy and translate vision into targeted execution.
- Military service experience or support as a military spouse/domestic partner is highly valued.
Salary : $85,040 - $153,080
